Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…
this week’s arrangement has us singing and wishing for snowflakes to fall from the sky. Frosty whites mixed with silvery greens make us shiver with anticipation for the reveal of this recipe. Inspired by our classic Christmas carol theme a statement piece of all white fit the bill perfectly, perched atop two 24” pilsner vases filled with acrylic nuggets and strands of white lights sits a 36” long arrangement sure to catch the eye of any passerby.
Hanging acrylic snowflakes catch the light and send it shimmering in all different directions as they spin and dance in their place. A cascade of lush Christmas greens and white florals accentuate the feel or snow spilling from the sky; playful blooms like starburst pom pons and Star Tessino dianthus mock snowflakes as they swirl in between Maisy disbuds, white Mikado spray roses, and Playa Blanca roses. White Veronica provides playful movement and creates a deeper variance of depth within the arrangement, white stock and carnations add bulk from deep in the arrangement to give an even more pleasing depth aesthetic. To accent the design we added silver brunia berries and silk silver holly with snow flocked silk magnolia blooms to really make the arrangement stand out.
It may not be snowing outside yet, but we are certainly feeling it in the DV lobby!
