Wow – THAT Ride was not so much fun!

There is no doubt that the past several months have been a huge challenge for all with numerous twists, turns and roadblocks!  But in the true spirit of American greatness and ingenuity, we have been in awe of how many in the Floral Industry have had to change their businesses in ways once thought impossible.  Everyone has worked with incredible fortitude and purpose. It has been amazing to experience from every dimension.

Through it all, DV is here for you and we remain incredibly optimistic business will continue to expand in the coming weeks and months.

We have been blown away by the how the joy and beauty of flowers expresses emotions and lifted spirits during these trying days, your work has helped our world!

And as restrictions continue to ease, we are expecting the continued increase in the consumer consumption of flowers.

For example, in New Jersey and other states, outdoor graduation ceremonies will begin starting in July.  This is another great opportunity to reach out to your local community to provide fresh flower arrangements, bouquets, and boutonnieres!

During these past weeks we have re-introduced many of our core features and have developed several new programs to help us better service your business needs.

SALES ASSOCIATES – our experienced team of DV Sales Associates is on hand and ready to help with any requests you may have.  Email salesrep@dvflora.com for assistance, or call 800-676-1212 Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm EST.

DVFLORA.COM – our website is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for order entry!  You can access all of our on-hand and incoming inventory, as well as our Grower Direct and Dutch Direct programs and weekly Distinctive Values flyer (see below for more information on each).

UPDATED CUTOFF TIMES – we are happy to announce that our cutoff times have been updated and are relatively back to normal.  Click here to view the times for each Distribution Center. Orders can be entered with a Sales Associate or online.

DV FLEET DELIVERY – another core feature we are excited to welcome back is 4 day-a-week refrigerated delivery from all of our Distribution Centers and in all of our markets.  Deliveries will be made Monday through Thursday via a DV driver, who will also be practicing safe social distancing and dressed in appropriate PPE.  As temperatures begin to increase for the summer months, we also understand the importance of keeping the cold chain from origin to your location. In addition, all routes are now being routed with our state of the art Omnitracs Distribution System giving us real time GPS status regarding delivery service.

SELECTION – We are working diligently and increasing options available on a daily basis.  You need it, we have it or can get it!  We are also listening to your requests and feedback to our Sales Associates, so keep it coming.

• Fresh Flowers – we have over 700 items available that you can order by the bunch, across many different product categories, as well as hundreds of small box-lot selections.  We’re also very excited about the upcoming local season, so stay tuned as we continue to bring more product in grown throughout the Northeast!
• Hardgoods – our extensive selection of supplies covers all of your possible needs!  Shop online through our on-hand inventory and view hundreds of “non-stock” items available from Syndicate Sales and Smithers-Oasis.  Click here to view our Essential Supplies Source Guide.
• Botanicals – We have a complete line of beautiful plants and botanicals. Consumer demand of these items has been very high and our Inventory is keeping up.

GROWER DIRECT – the “DV GD” program is fully operating and better than before!  We’ve added a new Fedex Direct feature that allows you to order last minute needs and have the flowers shipped from the farm to your store overnight.

You will also find availability from over 40 of our core farm partners on a weekly basis.  We have offerings from growers all around the world, including South America, California, Florida, Canada, and Holland.   

We combine our farm connections and logistics to offer you the best pricing and freshest selection of items!

NEW – GARLAND OFFERINGS – we just added an extensive list of Garland to the DV GD program as well.  Shop online now through a list of popular everyday selections or contact your DV Sales Associate for any specific needs.  We have access to thousands of combination of widths, lengths, and ingredients available to fill any request! This new program will be an incredible asset to your business.

NEW – BOUQUET OFFERINGS –
We have teamed up with the Queens Flowers to offer 150 selections of everyday and specific holiday bouquet selections.  You can find these all listed on Grower Direct in advance.  Orders must be entered by 12pm Friday for delivery two weeks out.

DUTCH DIRECT – this is perfect solution for your custom needs out of Holland.  Customize your order from hundreds of by the bunch selections that are offered on a weekly basis.  Orders should be placed by 10PM Thursday for delivery the following week.  Don’t have access, email salesrep@dvflora.com.

DISTINCTIVE VALUES – a weekly favorite is now back!  Look for the flyer in your inbox every Wednesday to see specials for the following week’s delivery or you can find it online.  You also have the option to download and print a copy.  If you are not receiving our emails, please contact your Sales Associate and make sure that add DVFlora Connect (webteam@dvflora.com) to your address books.

WEDDING/EVENT – our staff is prepared to help with all of your event needs as restrictions start to loosen up.  All of the options listed above should give you comfort in knowing that DV will be with you every step of the way and that we are prepared once we enter back into the “new norm.”
