A Recap Of Spirit Week 2021
The week of August 23rd was our first ever DV Spirit Week! We celebrated by creating specific themes for each day of the week, starting with Sports Day on Monday, which was fun to see everyone show their support for their favorite player and/or team. There may or may not have been a little ‘playful’ trash talking.
Then on Tuesday we had everyone wear their #TeamDV shirts. This felt special to see so many dressed in solidarity to show their support for not just Spirit Week, but the company as a whole. The group picture was definitely the highlight of the week!
On Wednesday we were treated to Kona Shaved Ice at our Sewell location to kick off Tropical Day. The dress code for the day had us feeling the vibes, for sure.
Then on Thursday, we capped off the week celebrating and remembering the 80’s. It seems like many were a little too embarrassed to break out the Z-Cavaricci jeans and parachute pants (or maybe we can’t fit in the anymore), but there were still some smiles as we reminisced about the “good ‘ole days.”
We would like to specifically thank our HR team for putting everything together! Safe to say it was a blast and should be an annual event.
