Holiday Basic's Flash Report for December
To help you stay informed for the Holiday Season, which is now in full swing, we’ve provide a brief update on the Basic’s product line. We hope you find this information helpful as you start to prepare your needs for the next three weeks and into the new year.
As of this publication, we have loaded the availability in our system so orders can be placed either online or with your DV Sales Associate! We highly encourage you to get your orders in early to avoid any issues and while quantities are available.
Alstro
White and Red Alstro will be somewhat limited. We do feel that we have procured solid numbers from our farm partners, but once items start to sell out, that will most likely be it.
Carnations
Anticipate higher prices, but available should be ok. As usual, high demand colors, like Red and White, in certain grades may sell out.
Gyp
Availability should be ok.
Laceflower
White and Green Mist will be fine. Chocolate – will be somewhat limited.
Liatris
Availability should be ok.
Lilies
White LA’s are going to be limited. White Oriental 2blm will be limited.
Limonium
White Misty will be limited.
Mini Carnations
Anticipate higher pricing in Red and White, and limited quantities.
Mums/Disbuds
White are available, but higher riced. Red Disbuds (Magna/Tornado) production is stopping and will become unavailable.
Poms
Production continues to run about 6 days behind schedule, but we should be ok. White Daisy seem to be the biggest problem at the moment, so expect limited availability.
Statice
White will be limited because they are two years plants. Other than Spring and December, we typically do not sell much white, so growers are forced to limit production.
