Recipe of the Week
Swimming in shades of summer salmon, this week’s recipe is rich in robust yellow hues and powerful punches of salmon and coral making us thirsty for more! Set inside a black Abby compote (S25558), the recipe is greened using the dark lush hues of Phoenix Roebelini (G1369), Salal (G1110), and Huckleberry (G1064). To anchor the eye and brighten the palette, local limelight hydrangea (43652) was used in conjunction with coral mini gerbs called Catch Me (49796). The eye-catching base color of salmon and coral was provided by a mixture of salmon godetia (26678), coral dianthus (38002), and orange Rockstar roses (54407).
To alleviate the intensity of the salmon softer tones of orange and peach were added; peach ranunculus (42990), orange mango geum (55356), and orange solomio dianthus (38740) rounded out the orange composition. To highlight these rich tones a palette of yellow was incorporated; yellow solidago aster (20591), craspedia (Billy Balls) (21542), yellow Candlelite garden roses (37161), yellow babe spray roses (30254), and Oncidium orchids (10174) provided an uplifting hue to the arrangement. As summer draws to an end this week’s recipe has us holding on to the season as long as we can!
