Romantic Winter Florals
We’ve arrived at that quiet, in-between time of the year when flowers feel especially magical. In the depths of winter – when light is limited and warmth feels like a distant memory – their ephemeral beauty carries a gentle reminder: nothing lasts forever. The sunlight will return. Gardens will bloom again. And spring is closer than it feels.
February invites us to celebrate love in all its forms. Not just romance, but friendships, family, and the love we give simply because it’s needed. No rules. No one day required. Just an opportunity to focus on beauty and endearment instead of the temperature outside.
Design with Garden Roses, Anemones, Sweet Peas & More...
Our February design leans into passion without clichés. For starters, the ceramic cylinder footed Passion Pot from Accent Decor (SA1167), brings a fun, trend-forward pop of color to this design. Tucked away within the arrangement are the Pink Keira Garden Roses. Known for its signature ruffled petals and full, romantic form, this variety brings an effortless elegance to any design. With its soft blush tones and classic garden-rose silhouette, Pink Keira offers depth, texture, and a timeless appeal designers rely on season after season. Its graceful presence anchors the arrangement beautifully, adding both visual impact and a sense of refined romance.
And while winter lingers, the flower market is anything but sleepy. Holland auctions are bursting with early spring stars – like striking Panda Anemone with their dramatic dark eye, and swoon-worthy blush sweet peas. Depth and contrast are what elevate a design from pretty to unforgettable, so we used Red Mammoth Hellebores to create a rich backdrop for the softer hues to shine. Cranberry Mini Callas bring that timeless romance, while Burgundy Agonis foliage adds an intriguing, feathery texture – proving that moody accents aren’t just for autumn, they can whisper romance too.
Flowers possess a superpower to make us smile and feel loved. They remind us that beauty doesn’t need to last forever to be meaningful. So, this month especially, be generous with your love. Share it freely, in all its forms – because everyone deserves to experience the magic of fresh flowers.
